Tween – Philadelphia children’s photographer

When we think about getting portraits taken of our kids, it’s usually the early milestones that leap to mind… The sleeping newborn. The first birthday. The toddler years.

After that, there’s often a gap in the family album. The “tween” years! Whether it’s their lack of interest in wearing what WE want them to wear, a desire for independence or something else, tweens can make portrait photography a challenge.

But no matter how awkward or frustrating this stage can be — for them and us — it’s still a rich and worthy time to remember. Make sure you don’t miss out on the images and memories of the “not a little kid but not quite a teen” stage.
